Yesterday evening the traditional Blue-black Christmas toast was celebrated in the Executive Hall at the San Siro Stadium. All the players, the President Moratti and his wife Milly and our Giacomo Ortolani, the CEO of Ciga Srl (the Globo Spa brand licence holder) were present at the event.

A typical Milanese panettone was made for the event, by Fiasconaro Confectioners, weighing 50 kg and entirely black and blue. Reinstating an old tradition of the Inter owned by Helenio Herrera, the evening was dedicated to the less fortunate children who live in the care homes around Milan, who received the greetings and gifts, which our company also offered, directly from the players.

We were delighted to hear from a loyal client that Lella, a lovely PELUX, was the mascot for an adventure at almost 8000 meters altitude.

In fact in August, Annalisa Fioretti, an alpinist and doctor set off with her team for Pakistan, where they climbed the Gasherbrum II, which is better known to everyone as the G2. During the expedition she was always accompanied by Lella, an intrepid PELUX that her children had given her to keep her company all the way to the mountain top. Lella also took part in two emergency rescues that Dr. Fioretti had to perform during the expedition. We look forward to seeing her again in other exciting adventures: www.a8000metrieoltre.it

Great expectations for the International Toy Exhibition that will be held in Nuremberg from 1st to 6th February 2012, with around 80,000 visitors and 2,700 exhibitors expected for one of the most important events for our sector.

GLOBO will have its own stand in Pavilion 12.0 (inside the Assogiocattoli exhibition area).
There is a lot of news for the exhibition, from the Toy Business Forum to the forecast number of exhibitors and visitors, not forgetting the Toy Awards and the Licensing. This and much more will be told in a special article on the Exhibition in the Toy Store Magazine in November 2011.
