Children are the leading toy consumers, and we must be sure that they are not playing with “bad friends”. Falsification constitutes a hazard for their health and safety: just think of the toxic materials that are used, the unsuitably small sizes, and the cutting and sharp edges. Buying a toy is an important decision that must be pondered, because they must be safe and comply with legislative standards, which is why the various features of the toys must be carefully assessed when making the purchase. Each age has its toys and age is the first factor that must be considered when buying a safe toy, and the indications of the recommended child’s age must be given on the packaging together with all the other legal warnings and precautions.

For all these reasons children’s safety is of fundamental importance for Globo, and we only used certified expert Italian laboratories for all the analyses that are conducted on our toys, which are all subjected to the strict tests provided by the European Toy Safety Directive (88/378/CE), by the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (89/336/CE) and the Radio Equipment Directive (1999/5/CE). Only when all these tests have been successfully passed do the toys receive the “EC” and safety marks.
